Who says you can't enjoy eating low-carb? Mother Lode Omelette (3-egg omelette stuffed with crispy bacon, mushroom, tomato, & cheese, topped with avocado) with a side of fruit and an unsweetened ice tea. Thank you Cafe 101! My breakfast was delicious!

I had been here once before - both times on a bicycle trip through Coalinga. I was reminded just how friendly the staff is and how much I liked the atmosphere. It seemed like the locals and the staff knew each other and people talked between tables, even talking to us outsiders. People flipped between Spanish and English freely and we were offered plenty of coffee refills. Reminds me of how I feel America should be. Thanks for the great service, guys!
Wow! This place is in a space time bubble protruding into Coalinga from somewhere that is nice to live. The food is good, great portions, beautiful presentation. The staff are NICE, they want you to be happy and satisfied. The cost is very reasonable, if I went to a drive-through burger dive, it would cost more, and taste less. It was of great comfort that I found this place while traveling in what is left of California. You should go to Cafe 101 now. Drive all night if you must, it is worth it.
My boyfriend and I stopped here for some lunch on Friday. It was so delicious. I had a double bacon BLT with some avocado and a side of sweet potato fries. James had the ultimate breakfast with 4 eggs, 4 pancakes, 4 sausage, 4 bacon and 2 pieces of ham. I had a bite of his pancakes which were so fluffy and yummy. Will have to go again
Stopped in while traveling and I'm glad we did. Great diner atmosphere, fast friendly service and the staff was attentive. Loads of menu items with breakfast all day. Everyone at our table enjoyed there orders of generous portions with a to-go box or 2 needed after the meal. Will definitely be back on our next trip through town.
Cafe 101 is centrally located and easy to find. You will find a normal diner menu, and the atmosphere is diner all the way. However, customer service was spectacular and the timeliness of the food was also spectacular. We were passing through and stopped for some food from here. Great kids menu, and the French Dip sandwich was delicious. The tri-tip was a little dry, but nothing a little buttermilk ranch couldn’t handle. My boys raved on the burgers. Absolutely would come back!
